Tatakizome- a natural dye technique of hammering freshly picked flowers into silk to create permanent prints. Guest teacher Aubrey will teach scouring and mordanting (fabric prep) and then delve into hammering technique using flowers from the fields. Each guest will make a 20" x 20" silk masterpiece.
Special guest instructor Aubrey Wood is co owner of The Three Two Store (a family owned business and art studio in Westbrook, Connecticut).
